Pupils are usually admitted to the Day School and the Residential School following statutory referral and assessment procedures involving, amongst others, the Education Psychology Service. The Local Education Authority will always involve parents throughout this process and your opinion will be sought about the most appropriate school for your child. Pupils are offered a place at the School when indicated on their 'Statement of Educational Need'. The boarding school caters for pupils with autism and/or severe learning difficulties and challenging behaviour.
Prospective parents are warmly welcome to visit the School, with or without their youngster. They will be able to see the entire work and range of the School and to meet with the staff and pupils and to have any queries answered. Naturally, it is always helpful to telephone the School Office to make an appointment for such a visit. The School telephone number is 01386 443367.
